Requirements & Policies

At Scooter’s Adventure Park your dog’s safety and well-being is our top priority. We have implemented measures to ensure a harmonious and secure environment for all our furry guests. Like a dog park we allow the public to come and stay with their dogs as they play within the playscape area. We also offer a dog daycare option where our playscape is used by our dogs participating in our daycare program. Which ever option you choose the requirements to participate are similar.

Vaccinations

We require all dogs entering our facility to have up-to date Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies vaccinations. If you choose to bring and stay with your dog he/she must be neutered if over the age of 9 months old unless there are no other dogs participating at the time or you have reserved the playscape for your dog for an hour.

Additionally we highly recommend that your dog be on a monthly flea preventative to ensure a safe and happy experience for all dogs.

Adventure Park

Hours are 7AM-5PM Monday-Friday

Saturdays 8AM – 4PM

Please enjoy the Dog Park at your dog’s own risk

You May bring a picnic lunch for humans but they are only allowed in the picnic table area. No alcoholic beverages allowed or glass containers. Doggie snacks or toys are not allowed within the playscape area.

We ask that you clean up after your pet. Receptacles are provided as well as doggie poop bags. Please throw away all other trash in the red trash barrel provided.

Remember to keep your dog on a leash until you enter the playground area.

This is a dog playground and although it might be tempting to adults and children we ask that humans do not try to play on the playscape. Children under the age of 10 are not permitted inside the dog area.

Remember off leash does not mean out of control.

Dogs in heat are not allowed

To keep the park safe we ask that there be only 2 dogs per person.Always keep an eye on your dog.It is up to you to make sure he/she is playing safe.

Dogs under the age of 4 months are not allowed to play with other older dogs. We do have puppy play dates for those puppy parents who would like to begin socializing their new family members.

No dogs must be left unattended or unsupervised. This mean you cannot ask our attendant to watch your dog while you run for a coffee or for a quick trip to Big Y. Leaving your dog unattended will cause you to be asked to not come back and we reserve the right to call animal control to come and pick up your abandoned dog.

Our attendant will be on watch during play ground hours. They are there to promote a safe environment for all and replenish water as needed for your pups. It is not their job to manage your dogs behavior. Your dog and the way it acts is your responsibility. However if our attendant sees an issue with any dog he/she will step in to correct the situation.

Aggressive Dogs

Dogs that are aggressive to people or children are not allowed.

Dogs that are aggressive to other dogs are not allowed in general play. However you have the option of reserving the play park for an hour so your dog can use the facility.

Spayed/Neutered Dogs

Dogs that are in heat are not allowed on the premises for any reason. It causes other dogs to become overly excited which leads to problems with other dogs.

Unaltered males or females are not allowed to play in the general play group once they are over a year old. Also humping by male dogs is not allowed as this causes other dogs to become aggressive. I you wish your older non neutered male or unspayed female to play at the park please reserve the scape for an hour.

Violators of our Park rules will be subject to removal from the park and suspension of park privileges.

Pricing

You may use the Dog Playground by first submitting your proof of vaccinations and signing in on our sign in sheet.

To use the facility it is $10 for the day – Remember you MUST stay with your dog.

For example you may come for a period of time in the morning and leave with your dog and then return in the afternoon with your dog once again for the all day price of $10

If your dog just loves our playscape we also have monthly and yearly pricing.

For use of the playscape for the month we charge $85/dog with discount for owners 2nd dog  $60

Our yearly rate $750.00/dog no other discounts associated with yearly membership

You may reserve the playscape for friends and family for $35/hour plus $10 per dog in attendance up to 15 dogs.

Playscape availability will fluctuate from day to day. If you have a monthly or yearly package availability will depend on the events and reservation we have for any particular day. There will be times when it will be closed for special activities. Please call if you are questioning whether it will be open to the general public during the hours you wish to come.

We will open the playscape for parties and special occasions which require reservations on Sunday. Please contact us to plan a date!
